How long will this knife stay sharp?

It really depends on how often you use the knife, and what items you’re cutting. When tested in the rigors of a professional kitchen, the Misen knife outperformed brands that cost 30-50% more.

Does this knife require special care?

Misen high-end knives are extremely easy to care for. Avoid the dishwasher, wash and dry after use, and you’ll never have an issue with your knife.

The Best Knife in My Collection

I bought this knife to replace all the cheaper knives I own. All of them had to be sharpened over and over again before using and, none of them could cut a tomato more than two slices before it would get dull and ruin it. Though I had gotten used to using them, I wasn't happy about their dull edges. The Misen Chef's Knife changed everything! I've been able to cut all the vegetables for a salad so beautifully, I even took a picture of the end result and showed it off on IG. Now, my Misen knife has taken the place of all my other knives and, I would never go back to a regular knife ever again. It truly is the best knife in my kitchen!

New knife set

I just received my 5 piece set today. This evening I made Bourbon Chicken with rice.

When cutting up my chicken pieces, the knife sliced through like butter. I was able to thinly slice the fat away from the chicken breasts I used. I have owned other knife sets (Wolfgang Puck, Curtis Stone as well as some other name brand knives) but this is by far the best set of all. I can't wait till I cook again!!!

I bought one as a gift... and kept it...

And then bough 6 more. As a designer, I'm always looking for unique client gifts. One of my clients opened a BBQ place, so a set knives were an obvious choice. These are incredible. The weight is perfect and the edge is flawless. I ended up keeping the bread knife I bought for my client, bought myself another, and got them a whole set for the restaurant. These knives are now my go-to gifts - both for restaurant/foodie clients, and for friends and family. I can't recommend them enough, and I'm ridiculously picky about my knives!

Misen Chef Knife

It’s awesome. Such a comfortable knife. Feels so balanced in my hand. Need to make sure I maintain my claw grip or I could lose a finger. Seriously the sharpest knife I’ve ever owned.
